History
Kakakatak was brought back in time by Robert Huston, who subsequently captured and tortured them to force them to divulge technological secrets far beyond an earthling's comprehension. As a last ditch attempt to regain their freedom, they created a device that would imprint a part of their mind over another creature, giving them an agent to use to attempt to free themselves. This device ended up in Lloyd Gribble's hands, who managed to activate it successfully and ceased to exist thereafter. Using Lloyd's body, Kakakatak was able to gain the aid of the other investigators to free themselves, and now seeks revenge on their captors.
