The Settlement event has the construction team find a +1 Mithril Shirt in the area under the new Dance Hall. Grik is thrilled.

7th of Calistril – 9th Kingdom turn – Successful Stability roll and they plan to Claim a hex. They will build 2 hexes of roads, a Foundry, and a House. Scholars using the library in Lakehold have a breakthrough in researching the history of the Taldor settlement of the area increasing the Fame by 1 and the Lore by 2.

7th of Pharast – 10th Kingdom turn – Successful Stability roll and Plan on claiming the Hex holding the Landmark Temple of Erastil. They plan to build a farm and roads and Lakehold will get another Foundry and House. The event is Loy and Latricia showing up to start the town of Tatzleford (Fill a settlement with 16 lots – 4800xp = 1200 each)

7th of Gozran – 11th Kingdom turn – Successful Stability roll and plan to claim a Hex. They plan to build roads to their Landmark Temple and in another hex. Lakehold will get its first Noble Villa and a Barracks will be built. Rumors of trolls in the south rise and Unrest increases by 2.

11th of Gozran – The Rushlight Tournament invitation arrives. Oathaven decides to attend.

13th of Gozran – Onica sends out people to find some basic information about the Rushlight Tournament (1BP cost).

7th of Desnus – 12th Kingdom turn – Successful Stability roll and Claim a Hex. They build roads in the new Hex and a Farm in the Hills. The Kingdom is now 11 hexes and Lakehold gets a Townhall and Exotic Artisan. Rumors of trolls continue to swirl and Unrest increases by 2.

13th of Desnus – Onica’s people return with basic information about the Rushlight Tournament.

25th of Desnus they leave for Pitax (they tell remaining council to plan on building a farm, 2 sawmills, jail, house, and dancehall and they will do their week of overseeing when they return). They head north around the Hooktongue Slough and then south towards Pitax with a long stop in Fort Drelev of the Drelev Demense on the way. Drelev seems nice enough, if smaller than expected compared to Oathaven

4th of Sarenith - They arrive at the Tournament early and gather a lot of information about the other nations in attendance. Those attending and competing are Oathaven, Drelev Demense, Varnhold, Daggermark, Gralton, Tymon, Touvette, Brevoy, Lambreth, and Pitax. They don’t think they have a good chance at the contest who seems to have much higher level contestants, so they plan to cheat.

7th of Sarenith - Highlord Kessler the Ascended, Grand Diplomat of Oathaven competed in the Ostrich race. Prior to the event, Onica burrows into the ostrich pen and wildshapes to look just like the other ostriches. In a stroke of luck, Onica is chosen by the handlers as Kessler is announced as the next contestant. Through a skillful display of bluffling and actual riding they manage to fake the crowd into believe that Kessler rode a bucking ostrich for 8 rounds, netting them 3 points. (at home, the Council puts into motion the plans to a farm, 2 sawmills, jail, house, and dancehall)

8th of Sarenith - Onica, druid of Erastil, Hearthkeeper of Oathaven competed in the Archery competition. With an amazing display of archery skill, Onica hits 3 targets in the first round, 2 in the second, and 2 in the third giving Oathaven their first win for 5 points.

9th of Sarenith - Baron Roland, slayer of the Staglord, protector of Oathaven, and caviler of the Blue Rose competed in the Boasting competition. Though his performance was well done, several other competitors were superb and the reigning champion from the previous year handily won.

10th of Sarenith – Roland tracks down the winner of the Boasting Contest from Pitax – Annamede Belavarah – in the hopes of courting her. She is aloof at first and he challenges her to an impromptu contest. She accepts and they both wow the crowd with their boasts. Annamede is judged the winner of this contest too, but is a gracious winner and says Roland’s story was well done. Roland pushes her on the courting but she demurs, saying “maybe if Oathaven wins the tournament she’ll think about it.” Onica spends time with the heir presumptive of Lebeda duchy of Brevoy, intrigued despite her dislike for the house that indirectly got her adoptive family killed.

11th of Sarenith Grikk, High General of Oathaven competed in the Midnight Joust. The final contest to determine the winner of the tournament started well for Oathaven as Grik unseated Warden after Warden while watching the other nations fail one by one. Unfortunately, Touvette and Oathaven were left as the last 2 standing in the first round, and Grik was unable to stay in the saddle. Touvette went on to joust the previous winner from Pitax, and though Touvette lost, it wasn’t enough for Oathaven to win the tournament. King Irovetti calls all competitors to the field and has a grand ceremony in the Coliseum. He awards the Plumed Mantle to Touvette and thanks everyone for attending (2400xp – 600each). Everyone cheers but quickly head off to bed or post-tournament celebrations

12th of Sarenith – The party wakes up, makes their farewells and sets off for home.

20th of Sarenith – Party arrives in Oathhaven, and instead of heading straight home to Lakehold, they decide to explore some of the land near the town. They immediately come across the Narthropple expedition in trouble in G18. After an attack by lizard folk, the ponies hitched to the wagon with their supplies bolted into the river. The party calms the ponies and rescues the wagons. Jubilost Narthropple is grateful enough to sell his maps of various locations for 500gp each. (2400xp – 600each) The party continues their exploration of the hex G18 (100xp – 25each) Back home, livestock near Lakehold are killed by a werewolf.

21st of Sarenith – Explore H18 and come across Old Beldame’s hut. They find/ring the bell and are invited in after Roland busts out the Diplomacy. Old Beldame is willing to provide casting/crafting services for standard prices and offers the party a quest for Black Rattlecaps at 100g per. She also warns them about will o’ wisps around Lake Candlemere. (3600xp – 900each) They finish the exploration of H18 (100xp – 25each) Back home, Saki is killed on her way home.

22nd of Sarenith – the next day, the party heads to H17 and begins exploring. Shortly after midday, they notice a man following them in the shadows of the trees. The party stops and they call out to the man. He comes forward with a Puma in tow. Onica dismounts and moves forward to embrace him as a druid brother. The man screams that “the blood will quiet the voices” and stabs her. The party quickly turns about and attacks him in retaliation. The fight is brutal and bloody, but mercifully short. The party follows Narthropple’s directions to the hollow tree where presumably the mad hermit was living. Once there, they find a faded cloth map that may lead them to a burial cairn to the east between the Gurdin and Shrike rivers. They spend the rest of the day exploring H17. (1200xp – 300each) (100xp – 25each) (275 extra given) Back home, Beven and his sheep are killed.

23rd of Sarenith – The party heads home to Lakehold. Once there, they find out about the killings and that no one has been able to track the beast doing the killings. Tansa thinks it could be a Worg known to frequent farther south in the Greenbelt. Oleg thinks it’s a werewolf since the killings started with the full moon this month. The party examines the bodies and the site of one of the killings. They are able to track the wolf and with better tracking skills they find that while the wolf prints disappear in the wood, human prints emerge on the other side. Grik calls for a curfew in town and they party patrols Lakehold in the evening. Grik and Kessler come across the werewolf on their patrol and quickly dispatch it. It blurs and turns into a Kellid tribesman called Kundal who was staying in a local inn. (1200xp = 300 each)

24th of Sarenith – 13th Kingdom turn starts – Successful Stability roll and NOT claiming a Hex. As mentioned earlier, they plan to build a farm and 2 sawmills in their forest hexes. A jail, house , and a dancehall expand their settlements. (Fill a settlement with 4 lots – 1600xp = 400 each)
