Adventure Summary
A brief introduction and the four characters are ushered towards a meeting with a wealthy textile merchant who's daughter has come up missing. Also, various portents are being felt/experienced pointing towards the Twins Of Miska-Ware returning to Coroth. After a skills challenge in the young ladies room they discover that she was carried off and down the estate's well.<
>
Climbing down the well they find a large cavern and are attacked by 6 Kobold Cleavers, 3 Vermin Handlers and a Kobold Rat Master. Using a number of encounter and daily powers they kill the enemies after chasing the last Handler that was trying to escape down and kill it.<
>
Entering the next cavern they see a chasm with a wooden bridge over it. There definitely appears to be ambush possibilities but as they approach the bridge a ghostly imp gives them a riddle. Answering it within the alloted time, they proceed to a large door where they are puzzled by another longer riddle. They figure it out and open the door to the final chamber, where Sarsutha, an evil wizard is about to sacrifice the child to the evil Miska-Ware twin. A battle with Zombies of Iuz, a Dread Zombie and the wizard himself occurs. Using their innate powers they are able to overcome the Zombie's exploding death, and are able to kill the wizard. The Dread Zombie dissolved as its master failed his plan of sacrifice.<

Location Info
This was run at Days of Knights in Newark, DE on June 14, 2010. Dan H2 originally wasn't going to play so I thought about removing/altering a number of the encounters to make them easier. The Tank/Defender was a definite plus, although he didn't have his character.
DM Info
Wanted to try to get an entire adventure completed in an evening. Gave the PCs a short idea of the world, history and then put them on the path towards the adventure. All four participated and seemed to get into the story and the game. The skills challenge could have been implemented better, but the players made up for it in jumping into the story and searching for clues. During the first encounter, the mixture of minions/artillery and a leader type definitely held there own, even though the party was 2 levels above. I'll have to see what the DMG has to say about encounter building, but my 'eye-ball' guess was appropriate, they all took damage, they all got equal combat time/successes. I need to come up with better one-liner's for the enemies! A mixture of semi-cliche is allowed, but trying not to feel that I'm reading from Evil Guy Manual, pg. 383 would be nice.<

For completing the quests, the monsters, the skills/riddles I calculated ~3836xp total, divided by 4 and rounding up an XP gives them each 960xp. I'll have to see how that equates to an adventure. The treasure was kinda light, a +1 dagger and a +1 cloth armor (scithillating.
