Day 1, 1923

New York, NY, USA

Jackson Elias, a writer of some repute had called me, Jack Falcon and some of his other friends together with a telegram. It looks like Jackson needed some help down in Mexico while researching another cult. He had called on Curtis, Mary and Victor and I in the past while investigating a death cult a few years back. This time he wanted the skinny on the Ah Puch Cult.

Jackson had us dig up some dirt on a Walter Kimble as well. The team spent some time scrounging around the stacks for the cult info as well as lined up some guns, smokes and gin.

Since the transport was on his publisher's dime, I took some vacation from the Pinkertons and went South of the border.

Day 2, 1923

Texas, USA

On our travels down to Mexico we stopped in Texas and got more information from the Texas Rangers on the loser Walter Kimble. Seems he has a rap sheet a mile long and cops from East to West looking to pinch him. Hell, he's managed to piss off the Army. We continued our travels South after this tidbit. Oh, and get this, we have been putting on the ritz on this train ride. Mary has her own Pullman its quite the orchid, man that dame has class.

Day 3, 1923

Campeche, Mexico

Made it over the border and stopped into the Hotel San Miguel in Campeche, Mexico. Elias left us a note with the clerk telling us to hop on another train and head deeper into the territory.

After getting a cold glass of water we switched trains. On alert for a tail we hopped off the train just before a trestle bridge and buried the guns. Making our way through the jungle we came upon Elias's camp just before dark. It had been ransacked.
