The Giza Plateau is a few miles to the west of Cairo. 32 miles to the north of of Dahshur Egypt and 16 miles to the north of Saqqara Egypt

This is the location of the famous pyramids, as well as the most well known sphinx

A mummy purported to belong to Queen Nitocris was found there by the Clive Expedition
