[[Gunter von Schreiber|Gunter]] finishes the translation of the scroll and realizes he has a spell to contact Bast as well as a spell to bind a cat into his service.
We work on our skills for the next 2 days while [[Gunter von Schreiber|Gunter]] works on the translation.  He learns that it contains rituals for [[Contact Bast]] and [[Bind Cat]].  [[Gunter von Schreiber|Gunter]] tries casting [[Contact Bast]] to ask about the death of his fiancee.  He sleeps for the next 15 hours, but learns that his cat was defending the home against demons and there was residual energies on his fiancee that caused her to get scratched.  He also learns that binding a cat is fine as long as it's in the service of the goals of [[Bast]], which is the protection and pleasure of cats.  [[Charles St. Dennis|Charles]] attempts to wake [[Gunter von Schreiber|Gunter]], [[Dr. Victor Lester v2.0|Victor]] checks his vitals, and [[Cillian Quinn|Quinn]] prays over him until he wakes.


He decides to contact Bast to ask for information on the death of his fiance, as well as if binding a cat will offend Bast. After casting he falls into a deep sleep.
During the downtime, [[Dr. Victor Lester v2.0|Victor]] and [[Charles St. Dennis|Charles]] work on reading and translating scrolls.  [[Dr. Victor Lester v2.0|Victor]] translates a Spanish text, though [[Charles St. Dennis|Charles]] fails to translate the unknown Russian text.  [[Cillian Quinn|Quinn]] keeps vigil and works on his skills.
