there are 3 step up to the 12ft square dais holding obelisk

in the base are obvious poorly repaired gouges on only one side (perhaps from Hugh Tylesman's attack

obelisk is 11ft tall 2 feet wide, grey black stone with 4 sides covered in heiroglyphs and apparently drinks liquids.
