The monks at [[Sacra di San Michele]] are able to help us understand that once daily the scepter can empower a magical spell and protect the wielder from hostile magical energies.
As long as the two scepters remain crossed in front, they will add 1d20 magical points to cast spells, and will absorb 1d10 magical damage.
