African devil mask carved out of brown/black wood. The lines are smooth and curved, displaying enormous raised eyes, a thick and angular nose, no ears, and a small mouth with little teeth. The texture is strange, feeling lighter and more porous than expected. Visually a combination of at least 4 different styles divided into quadrants that almost don't go together. There are spiral patterns all over along with spots that look like sores or blemishes. The bottom is rough, looking as though it's broken off or something broke it off. The mouth is made with real human teeth. citation needed

Mask has no straps and, after experimentation, we know that it affixes itself to a face for a short time when held up.

Experiences with Artifact

January 20, 1925 - Victor doned the mask and went to a magical chessboard where he met a man who claimed to be the Lord of the Abyss. They had a nice chat.

January 21, 1925 - Curtis put on the mask and was transported to a magical bubble network which he rode until nearly all the other bubbles around him faded away, and then he saw his parents and watched as they were brutally murdered. He nearly lost his mind from the experience.
